Tried out QuickMan today, its a simple, fun, limited but QUICK fractal generator. It seems to me that there are basically 15 or 20 fractals to explore at various zoom levels and with different colour schemes... and that's it. Hence the quickness. I don't think you can generate your own fractals or anthing like that. Lots to see in there, though. Correct me if I'm wrong...
Still, nice for making backgrounds or blending with other things, like this kaleider-warped Mandelbulb3D jobbie.
Really interesting. It's really nice with the colors and shapes. Sometimes simple can still be better and there are times where I wish that fractal generators weren't quite so indepth so I can understand taking a break from them.
Thanks!! I'm not too keen on this, but as long as people like it that's cool...
When something is too simple and there's minimal input from the user it kind of feels bad to post images from it and take credit for them.
Unless I can find some way of influencing the result other than colouring and choosing what I 'photograph' I will only use this programme occasionally, and then mainly to make elements for combining with other pictures. Hopefully more successfully than this time
