I went back to 'Girl's Castle' with my cute but uncooperative young son to try to catch the white apple blossoms I remembered there from my first spring in the Czech Republic and a long walk with my wife to be... Spring in the Czech Republic is so short, just a few weeks seperate gloomy winter from boiling summer weather.
I thought I'd take the 'quick way up' from Pavlov, which proved a mistake with a pushchair. I had to drag him in it up the hill backwards all the way over stones, roots and rocks. It was exhausting - I'm not exactly fit. It took an hour to get up that small hill... and only 20 minutes to get back down. I nearly gave up but was determined to make it. The view was hard won but worth it... and the blossoms I'd seen 14 years ago were there...
My legs were killing me the next day... must exercise more
Quality of the pics got somehow knackered between camera and uploading... sorry!
